TONYMOLY WONDER Hyaluronic Acid Chok Chok Toner Review

Korean Skincare on a budget: TONYMOLY WONDER Hyaluronic Acid Chok Chok Toner - A review

Korean Skincare has taken the world by a storm for good. As much as we all love Korean products we know how expensive they can be. So here I am with a product that will not only fit in your skincare routine but also your budget!😊

PACKAGING💙

It comes in beautiful blue bottle that is just so refreshing to look at. This kind of packaging is common for toners. Ideal for using with a cotton pad (but I prefer to use my hands).

INGREDIENTS

Along with Hyaluronic acid (which is the holy grail of  hydration, do I need say more?) and Hyaluronates (promote skin healing) this toner is packed with some amazing ingredients.

Centella Asiatica extract: improves skin hydration,
 anti-aging, skin healing properties
Melon extract🍈: cleanses and firms pores,
contains antioxidants
Rosemary Leaf extract: reduces inflammation,
 fights acne
Sea water💦: tightens and unclogs pores, rejuvenates skin, hydrates

CONSISTENCY

So, this is a Hyaluronic acid based toner which has a watery consistency. It is hydrating and very refreshing. It has a very mild smell (no added fragrance) which is hardly noticeable once you apply it.

Fun Fact: 'Chok Chok' mean 'Moist' in Korean. This phrase is often used to refer to hydrated skin which is essential to achieve the glass skin look.

The watery consistency of this toner makes it easily absorbed in your skin. But here's a thing, it did feel a little sticky during the hot Indian summers. I have combination skin so when I used this in summer I only preferred applying a single layer post using a hydrating mist, and during winter I preferred layering it twice or even thrice for nicely hydrating and preparing my skin for the rest of my skincare routine.

It provides good hydration, soothes dry skin and leaves your skin looking dewy. I also thinks it is an excellent product for beginners who are exploring Korean skincare and are trying to curate a skincare routine. A basic toner that can be used with a variety of serums and moisturizers is a must have for any skincare lover.

Price: ₹950 for 500 ml

Some of you might want to say, HOLD UP! How is that budget friendly?

If you keep the quantity in mind this is a great deal because normally such toners retail for more than 1k and you only get around 100-150ml of product.

You can get it on a lower price when it is on sale, I highly recommend doing that.

Pros:

1. Good quantity

2. Value for money

3. Hydrating

Cons:

1. Can be a little sticky during the summers for oily skin
